Pierre-Jacques Brault - Artistic Director/Co-Founder
Pierre is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College's Music Theatre Dept. and is the co-founder of Mercury Summer Stock, which enters its fifteenth season this summer at Notre Dame College. He has directed countless shows, ranging from full-scale musicals, such as Evita and Annie, to lesser-known plays, including Never the Sinner. His favorite directing credit was putting together the critically acclaimed musical Cinderella, Enchanted. As an actor, Pierre has worked with Broadway legends Donna McKechnie and Pamela Myers and has assisted some of today's top directors and choreographers, including Cleveland's own Victoria Bussert. Pierre’s work has been seen at Cain Park, Willoughby Fine Arts, Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, Geauga Lyric Theatre Guild, Great Lakes Theater Festival, Ensemble Theatre, Virginia Musical Theatre and Stagedoor Manor, a theatrical camp in upstate New York. Pierre is currently working on his first fiction novel entitled: The Unlighted. |

Brian Marshall - Managing Director/Co-Founder
Brian holds a degree in musical theatre from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music, and is the co-founder of Mercury Summer Stock. He also serves as the Artistic Director for Caryl Crane Youth Theatre, and Associate Producing Director at Virginia Musical Theatre, where he directed such shows as Cabaret and Yours, Anne, and 2008's critically acclaimed Titanic. As Managing Artistic Director and co-founder of Mercury, Brian has directed numerous musicals for the company, including Jane Eyre, A Class Act and Really Rosie. He is a veteran of 7 national tours, including Titanic, Tintypes and A Christmas Carol. Regionally, he has performed the roles of Danny in Baby, Nick in Fame, Dickon in The Secret Garden and Eddie Lyons in Blood Brothers. His most recent Mercury assignments were Gus/Growltiger/Bustopher Jones in CATS, The Minstrel in Once Upon A Mattress, Dennis in All Shook Up, Matthew Mugg in Doctor Dolittle, Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel, Gaylord Ravenal in Show Boat, Percy Blakeney in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Pappy Yokum in Li'l Abner, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl, Herald in Cinderella, Disciple in Godspell, Huck in Big River, Older Patrick in Mame, Mayor Who in Seussical the Musical, Val in Babes In Arms, Skellig in Skellig and The Elephant's Child in Just So. Brian also performed at Cleveland Play House in the Children's Season productions of The Nutcracker (title role) and The Jungle Book (Mowgli), in the combined Cleveland Play House/Actors Theatre of Louisville production of My Fair Lady, and performed in Forbidden Broadway SVU as part of The PlayhouseSquare 2007-2008 Broadway Series.
